Getting organized... seems like we never stop getting organized... Just like housework, you no sooner get done and it is time to start all over again, even when there is just one or two in a household...
Today I reorganized my office and Feng Shui'ed it. I pulled my desk out and ran it the long way from the window, and, it is odd, but, according to Feng Shui, your desk chair should not cause you to have your back to the door, and, according to Feng Shui, when you use this ancient dynamic in your office, you will prosper... Yeah baby... Ha! Know what? I love it like this, it is different and it is cozy, so, not only will I prosper, I will be more relaxed...
I have been a natural Feng Shui user all my life, just did not realize it until I read some of the material on it. My house is in pretty good 'flow' pattern, and, all of the elements essential to Feng Shui are already in place... I was impressed!
Having order in our lives is imperative to creative flow and relaxation. We function better in every area of our lives if we have order around us. Clutter, which we all have, clutters the mind, and, therefore, many of our senses...
So, I am getting ready to organize all of my house, the closets, cupboards, get rid of useless things, clothes, shoes, and, so forth. It has to be done at least once a year, but, I tend to do it at least every 6 months to some degree. Not fun but the end result is great. You actually feel lighter! Ha!
