Thursday

THERE'S A BIG BLACK SPOT ON THE SUN TODAY...

There is no sunshine today, just rain and grey skies, but, there is still plenty of tea and me...

I watched Dancing With The Stars for the last two evenings. I like that show, though, this time they have some really different kinds of people. Wayne Newton is one of the contestants, and, man, he is suffering. Too aged and too out of shape, he was pouring sweat from deep within during the training. Last year when they had George Hamilton as the older guy, it was pretty entertaining. He suffered as well, but, he ended up doing pretty good. Marie Osmond? Ha, it is interesting...

This weekend I am going to the Cider Mill to get some apples, apple cider, and, some cinnamon apple doughnuts. A treat indeed. There is a Cider Mill pretty close to me which is one of the best and the busiest in the state. The smell of the place is enough to make you want to stay there for a while. Outside there are craft tables, hot dogs, drinks, cinnamon roasted almonds, pumpkins, and, lots of other interesting stuff. I go there at least once during the season, can't go more, as those cinnamon doughnuts are not real healthy... Ha!

I went out last Saturday night to hear my favorite band, and, the owner of the place, whom I have known for about 17 years, has cancer of the kidney. He is having the kidney removed next Monday. He is beside himself with worry. No doubt. It is terrible to see people suffer like this. I will pray for him, and, keep positive mental thoughts going. They are having a special fund raiser for him and people with cancer in November, which will last for 3 days, with non-stop entertainment and such.

Well, I have tons to do today, have appointments Thursday and Friday, so have to get caught up around here... I wish everyone a beautiful day with lots of sunshine and happiness...
